Art Content was established in 2011 by Dr. Warren Feeney for the independent valuations of historical and contemporary Aotearoa New Zealand art for insurance and Estate purposes.

Dr. Warren Feeney has worked professionally in the arts in Aotearoa New Zealand as an art consultant, gallery director, art historian, art critic and commentator for more than 25 years. He has researched and written extensively on the visual arts and is the author of ‘The Radical, the Reactionary and the Canterbury Society of Arts 1880 – 1997’, a history of the arts in Canterbury and the Canterbury Society of Arts, published in 2011 by Canterbury University Press.
